Testimonials for Simply Self-publish

Before I took the course, I felt lost in a sea of conflicting information. When I’d finished, I was confident I could do it – and do it, I did! – Gideon Robertson, Author of Drake’s War
I finished the course feeling empowered and ready to go. Now, a year later, my historical novel The West Rises has been shortlisted for the Selfies Award for Adult Fiction. There’s no way this would have happened without Debbie’s course. – S M Davies, author of the High King series, now three books long
Thanks to Jericho Writers. Their constant fostering of the creative spark has been an incredible support. I’ve benefitted from their great webinars and course that have enhanced my never-ending journey as a writer. I’ve been fortunate to have had to teachers – actually, two phenomenal Debi/Debbie’s – who taught brilliant courses, the first on Self-Editing and the second on Self-Publishing. Both are warm and witty teachers who provided inspiration and encouragement. – J Herman Kleiger, Author of Tears Are Only Water, The 11th Inkblot, & Whispers
Debbie’s course set me firmly on the right path. Her feedback and encouragement on a personal level were particularly important to me. – Nitin Nanji, Author of Lalji’s Nairobi
What I found most useful about the course was that Debbie was able to identify all the things I didn’t know I didn’t know. And that has allowed me to ask a lot of very important questions, to which her replies have been invaluable and helped me understand all the processes I need to get my head round. – Max Haven, author of The Paths of Guilt
Thanks again for delivering such a brilliantly detailed, comprehensive and enjoyable course. You really were so generous, helpful and encouraging throughout the ten weeks, and such an inspiration. All greatly appreciated. Huge gratitude for all of your shared wisdom and expertise. The afterglow of your wonderful course is still with me, inspiring me onwards.- Erik Tyler Adams, (debut novel, The Fascinations of Jenka Moon, to be published shortly)
Such a great teacher, especially in terms of nurturing her students. I was astounded by the depth and length of her comments on my final assignment, as well as her recent responses to my emails. She is the ultimate expert, yet kind and accessible. And so smart. – Michael Judy, (working on debut novel)
Testimonials for Mentoring
As a first-time self-published author, Debbie’s mentoring sessions were invaluable. I had a list of questions as long as my arm and there wasn’t a single one that she couldn’t answer. Knowing I had a seasoned pro in my corner, gave me the confidence to push through what seemed like an insurmountable feat at times and get my finished book out there into the world. – Saz Wilson, author of Mad Dogs and Me
Debbie Young provided me with an abundance of sound self publishing advice for a modest charge and an action list that, four months on, I am still working my way through. Excellent advice, Debbie – thank you. – Michael Forester, indie author of many books including A Home for Other Gods
Debbie Young is unbelievable! A gifted, funny writer; an amazing mentor, and a one-woman cheering squad all in one! I couldn’t have self-published my book without her and highly recommend any courses Debbie is associated with. – Trish McGarrahan, author of Saint of Lost Souls
